Chapter 41.--INTOXICATING LIQUORS AND BEVERAGES
Article 3.--LICENSING AND RELATED PROVISIONS; CITY OPTION

      41-322.   Same; powers of secretary; subpoenas.For the purpose of hearing or conducting any appeal authorized to be heardby the secretary, the secretary shall have powerto examine, or cause to be examined, underoath, any licensee, the director, or other person, and to examine or causeto be examined books and records of any such licensee; to hear testimonyand take proof material for its information in hearing such appeal; to administeror cause to be administered oaths; and for any such purposes to issue subpoenasto require the attendance of witnesses and the production of books whichshall be effective in any part of this state; and any district court orany judge thereof either in term time or vacation, may by order duly entered,require the attendance of witnesses and the production of relevant bookssubpoenaed by the secretary and the district court or judgemay compel obedienceto the order by proceedings for contempt.
