Chapter 41.--INTOXICATING LIQUORS AND BEVERAGES Article 7.--CERTAIN PROHIBITED ACTS AND PENALTIES

41-721. No retail licenses to issue in cities where electors votedcontrary.It shall not be lawful to sell alcoholic liquor at retail nor shall thedirector grant or issue, or cause to be granted or issued, any licenseto sell alcoholic liquor at retail within the limits of any city of thisstate, while the prohibition against such sales, arising under K.S.A.41-301 and 41-302, or otherwise as provided inthis act, is in effect; and if any such license be granted or issued inviolation hereof the same shall be void: Provided, That thissection shall not prohibit the issuance of a manufacturer's ordistributor's license in accordance with law by the director in suchprohibited territory.
