Chapter 42.--IRRIGATION
Article 3.--IRRIGATION AND IRRIGATION DISTRICTS

      42-313.   Right to collect and store water.Any person entitled to use water for beneficial purposes may collect andstore the same and all natural flows for use thereafter, so long as suchcollection, storage, use and times of use thereafter are consistent withreasonable storage and conservation practices; and the failure to apply oruse such waters during the period of such collection and storage shall notbe deemed or taken to impair his right in that behalf: Provided, Suchcollection and storage of all natural flows shall be subject to vestedrights and prior appropriation rights.
