Chapter 44.--LABOR AND INDUSTRIES
Article 7.--EMPLOYMENT SECURITY LAW

      44-720.   Representation in court;prosecutions.(a) In civil actions. In any civil action involving the provisionsofthis act, the secretary of labor and the statemay be representedby any qualified attorney who is an employee of the secretary of laborand designated by the secretary for this purpose, and at thesecretary'srequest by the attorney general; or if the action is brought in the courtsof any other state by any attorney qualified to appear in the courts of thatstate.

      (b)   In criminal actions. All criminal actions for violation of anyprovision of this act, or of any rules or regulations issued pursuant thereto,shall be prosecuted by the attorney general of the state; or, at thesecretary's request and under thesecretary's direction, by the district attorney orcounty attorney of any county in which the offense was committed.
