Chapter 44.--LABOR AND INDUSTRIES
Article 9.--BOILER INSPECTION

      44-919.   Deputy inspectors;qualifications, compensation.The secretary shall employ one or more deputy inspectors who shall beresponsible tothe chief inspector. Each deputy inspector shall have at the time ofappointmentnot less than three years experience in the construction, installation,inspection, operation, maintenance or repair of high pressure boilers andpressure vessels asa mechanical engineer, steam operating engineer, boilermaker or boilerinspector. Deputy inspectors shall be in the unclassified civil service and shall receivesuch compensation as prescribedby the secretary, subject to the approval of the governor.
