Chapter 46.--LEGISLATURE
Article 1.--GENERAL PROVISIONS

      46-137d.   Application of 46-137a, 46-137b, 46-137e and 75-3212.Nothing in K.S.A. 46-137a, 46-137b, 46-137e and K.S.A. 75-3212 andamendments thereto, shall be deemed to prevent payment after January 12,1981, of compensation and allowances to any member of the legislaturefor services rendered or incurred prior to such date, at the rates thenapplicable thereto, as a member of a legislative committee or as anofficer or member of any council, commission, authority, board or anyother agency or instrumentality of the state. Whenever in the statutesof this state there is provision for any person to receive compensationor expenses as provided in K.S.A. 75-3212 and amendmentsthereto, or words of like effect, such compensation or expenses, orboth, shall be received by such persons at the rates and in the amountsprovided in K.S.A. 75-3212 and amendments thereto.
