Chapter 46.--LEGISLATURE
Article 10.--INVESTIGATING COMMITTEES; COMPULSORY PROCESS

      46-1009.   Pertinency of questions; explanation thereof, when required.Whenever a witness is testifying before an investigating committee whichis exercising powers of compulsory process, and the witness questionsthe pertinency of a question he or she is required to answer or information heor she is required to supply, such witness shall be informed of the subjectunder inquiry, study or investigation and the connective reasoningwhereby such question or requirement of information is pertinentthereto.
