Chapter 46.--LEGISLATURE Article 12.--LEGISLATIVE COORDINATING COUNCIL

46-1208c. Higher education coordination act; duties;reports.The legislative educational planning committee shall:

(a) Monitor implementation and operation of the Kansas higher educationcoordination act;

(b) evaluate the effect of the act on the postsecondary education system ofthe state;

(c) determine whether operation of the act is successfully effectuating thepurpose of the act;

(d) review and evaluate the comprehensive plan, and any amendments, revisionsand modifications thereof, for coordination of higher education within thestate; and

(e) make an annual report, together with any recommendations or anylegislation relating to higher education coordination or to amendment, revisionormodification of the act, to the legislature and the governor.
