Chapter 46.--LEGISLATURE
Article 12.--LEGISLATIVE COORDINATING COUNCIL

      46-1218.   Same; transfer and continuation of revisor of statutes;transfer not to affect rules and regulations.(a) The office of revisor of statutes established by this act shall bethe successor in every way, with respect to the powers, duties andfunctions of the revisor of statutes in which the same were vested prior tothe effective date of this act, except as otherwise provided by this act.Every act performed in the exercise of such powers, duties and functions byor under the authority of the revisor of statutes established by this actto which such powers, duties and functions are transferred by this act,shall be deemed to have the same force and effect as if performed by therevisor of statutes in whom such functions were vested prior to theeffective date of this act. Whenever the revisor of statutes is referred toor designated by law, contract or other document, such reference ordesignation shall be deemed to apply to the revisor of statutes providedfor by this act.

      (b)   All rules and regulations of state agencies lawfully filed with therevisor of statutes before the effective date of this act shall continue tobe effective and shall be deemed to be duly filed with the revisor ofstatutes provided for by this act until revised, amended, repealed, ornullified pursuant to law.

      (c)   The office of revisor of statutes created by this act shall be acontinuation of the office of revisor of statutes established under K.S.A.77-301 and the revisor of statutes appointed in accordance with saidsection 77-301 shall be and continue as revisor of statutes under this act,until the legislative coordinating council exercises its appointingauthority hereunder.
