Chapter 47.--LIVESTOCK AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS
Article 6.--PROTECTION OF DOMESTIC ANIMALS

      47-608.   Livestock commissioner to cooperate with federal officers.The livestock commissioner is herebyauthorized and directed to cooperate with the secretary of agriculture ofthe United States, or any officer or authority of the general government,in the suppression and extirpation of contagious diseasesamong domestic animals and in the enforcement and execution ofall acts of congress to prevent the importation and exportation of diseasedanimals and the spread of infectious or contagious diseases among domestic animals.
