Chapter 47.--LIVESTOCK AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS Article 6.--PROTECTION OF DOMESTIC ANIMALS

47-653e. Same; disposal of animals; unlawful acts.The owner or custodian of such swine, immediately after thedetermination of its appraised value, shall cause such swine to bedisposed of in the manner directed by the livestockcommissioner or the authorized representative of thelivestock commissioner. Any owner or custodian of swine who fails todispose of swine as directed by the livestock commissioner, uponconviction, shall be guiltyof a misdemeanor and shall be punished in the manner provided inK.S.A. 47-607c and amendments thereto.
