Chapter 47.--LIVESTOCK AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS
Article 6.--PROTECTION OF DOMESTIC ANIMALS

      47-658b.   Same; sale of reactor animals; shipping permit.Any animal determined to be a reactor animal to brucellosis shall besold for slaughter within fifteen (15) days after being properlyidentified. Such animal being shipped to be sold for slaughter shall beaccompanied by an official shipping permit issued by the livestockcommissioner or his authorized representative. Under unusual circumstances,the livestock commissioner may extend the period for sale for slaughter upto a maximum of an additional thirty (30) days following the properidentification of such reactor.
