Chapter 48.--MILITIA, DEFENSE AND PUBLIC SAFETY
Article 12.--EMERGENCY INTERIM EXECUTIVE AND JUDICIAL SUCCESSION ACT

      48-1208.   Formalities of taking office.At the time of their designation, emergency interim successors andspecial emergency judges shall take such oath as may be required for themto exercise the powers and discharge the duties of the office to which theymay succeed. Notwithstanding any other provisions of law, no person, as aprerequisite to the exercise of the powers or discharge of the duties of anoffice to which he or she succeeds, shall be required to comply with any otherprovision of law relative to taking office.
