Chapter 48.--MILITIA, DEFENSE AND PUBLIC SAFETY
Article 12.--EMERGENCY INTERIM EXECUTIVE AND JUDICIAL SUCCESSION ACT

      48-1209.   Period in which authority may be exercised.Officials authorized to act as governor pursuant to this act, emergencyinterim successors and special emergency judges are empowered to exercisethe powers and discharge the duties of an office as herein authorized onlyafter an attack upon the United States, as defined herein, has occurred.The legislature by concurrent resolution, may at any time terminate theauthority of said emergency interim successors and special emergency judgesto exercise the powers and discharge the duties of office as hereinprovided.
