Chapter 48.--MILITIA, DEFENSE AND PUBLIC SAFETY
Article 2.--KANSAS ARMY AND AIR NATIONAL GUARD

      48-252b.   Authorizing certain military personnel to direct traffic onpublic roads and highways.The Kansas highway patrol superintendent or a division captain may onproper application, as hereinafter enumerated, grant to military personnelor state national guardsmen of this state or any other state authority todirect or regulate traffic upon the streets, roads and highways within thestate of Kansas when military vehicles or convoys, or the private vehiclesof such military personnel and national guardsmen being operated whilereporting for or departing from duty may affect the safety of persons andproperty upon and using such streets, roads and highways.
