Chapter 48.--MILITIA, DEFENSE AND PUBLIC SAFETY
Article 9.--EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS FOR DISASTERS

      48-956.   Personnel of participating politicalsubdivision; benefits.Personnel of a participating political subdivision responding toorrenderingassistance for a request who sustain injury or death in the course of, andarising out of, theiremployment are entitled to all applicable benefits normally available topersonnel whileperforming their duties for their employer. Such personnel shall receive anyadditional state andfederal benefits that may be available to them for line-of-duty deaths.
