Chapter 53.--NOTARIES PUBLIC AND COMMISSIONERS
Article 1.--NOTARIES PUBLIC

      53-104.   Filing and indexing application, bond, oathand record of appointment; fee.Such application, bond, oath and record of appointment shall be filed inthe office of the secretary of state and properly indexed in thatoffice. The secretary of state shall receive a fee of $10 for such services.The secretary of state shall remit all moneys received under this sectionto the state treasurer in accordance with the provisions ofK.S.A. 75-4215,and amendments thereto. Upon receipt of each such remittance, the statetreasurer shall deposit the entire amount inthe state treasury to the credit of the state general fund.
