Chapter 58.--PERSONAL AND REAL PROPERTY

Article 30a.--COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE BROKER LIEN ACT

      58-30a07.   Leases.In the case of a lease, the lien must be recorded within 90days afterthe lessee takespossession of the property. If written notice of the intention to sign thelease ispersonally served on the broker entitled to claim a lien at least 10 daysbefore the date ofthe intended signing of the lease, the claim for lien must be recorded beforethe date indicated for the signing of the lease. The lien attaches for purposesof this paragraphwhen the claim for lien is recorded.
