Chapter 58.--PERSONAL AND REAL PROPERTY Part 6.--MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS Article 41.--REAL ESTATE APPRAISERS

58-4116. Certification and licensure limited to individuals.(a) The term "state certified appraiser" or "state licensedappraiser" may beused only to refer to individuals who hold a certificateor license issued pursuant to this act and may not be usedfollowing or immediately in connection with the name or signature of afirm, partnership, corporation or group, or in such manner that it might beinterpreted as referring to a firm, partnership, corporation, group oranyone other than an individual holder of the certificate or license.

(b) No certificate or license shall be issued under the provisions ofthis act to acorporation, partnership, firm or group. This shall not be construed toprevent a state certified or licensed appraiser fromsigning an appraisalreport on behalf of a corporation, partnership, firm or group practice.
