Chapter 58.--PERSONAL AND REAL PROPERTY
Article 7.--UNIFORM SIMULTANEOUS DEATH LAW

      58-717.   Same; effective date.On the effective date of this act:

      (1)   An act done before the effective date in any proceeding and any accruedright is not impaired by this act. If a right is acquired, extinguished orbarred upon the expiration of a prescribed period of time that has commenced torun by the provisions of any statute before the effective date, the provisionsremain in force with respect to that right; and

      (2)   any rule of construction or presumption provided in this act applies toinstruments executed and multiple-party accounts opened before the effectivedate unless there is a clear indication of a contrary intent.
