Chapter 59.--PROBATE CODE
Article 16.--ACCOUNTING OF TRUSTEES

      59-1603.   Final accounting.Within thirty (30) days after the termination of every testamentary trust thetrustee, and in the case of the transfer of the trusteeship due to thedeath, resignation, removal, dissolution, merger or consolidation of a soletrustee, the successor in interest of the old trustee shall file with thedistrict court of the county where the will was admitted to probate a finalaccount under oath, showing for the period since the filing of the lastaccount the facts required by K.S.A. 59-1602, regarding intermediateaccountings and, in case of termination of the trust, the distribution ofthe trust property which the accountant proposes to make.
