Chapter 59.--PROBATE CODE
Article 21.--ADOPTION

      59-2120.   Interstate adoption; procedures.Interstate placements of children shall comply with theprocedures contained in the interstate compact on placement of children asset forth in K.S.A. 38-1202 and amendments thereto. Any professionalproviding services related to the placement of children for adoption whofails to comply with the provisions of the interstate compact for theplacement of children is guilty of a class C misdemeanor. For the purposesof this section, "professional" means any person who receives payment orcompensation for providing services related to the placement of children foradoption.
