Chapter 59.--PROBATE CODE
Article 22.--PROBATE PROCEDURE

      59-2240.   Demands not due.The court may allow demands, which are payable at a future day, at thethen present value thereof, or the court may order the executor oradministrator to retain in his or her hands sufficient funds to satisfy the sameupon maturity; or if the heirs, devisees, or legatees offer to give bond toa creditor for the payment of the creditor's demand according to the terms thereof,the court may order such bond to be given in satisfaction of such demand.
