Chapter 59.--PROBATE CODE
Article 29.--CARE AND TREATMENT FOR MENTALLY ILL PERSONS

      59-2950.   Discharge of a voluntary patient.The head of a treatment facility shalldischarge any voluntary patient whose treatment in the facilityis determined by the head of the treatment facility to havereached maximum benefit. Prior to the discharge, the head of thetreatment facility shall give written notice of the date and timeof the discharge to the patient and, if appropriate, to thepatient's parent, legal guardian or other person known to thehead of the treatment facility to be interested in the care andwelfare of a minor patient.
