Chapter 59.--PROBATE CODE
Article 29.--CARE AND TREATMENT FOR MENTALLY ILL PERSONS

      59-2983.   Applicability to persons in custody on criminal charges.Nothing in this act shall be construed toapply to any person alleged or thought to be a mentally illperson subject to involuntary commitment for care and treatmentunder this act who is in custody on a criminal charge, exceptwith the consent of either the prosecuting attorney or trialcourt.
