Chapter 59.--PROBATE CODE Article 35.--TRANSFER-ON-DEATH

59-3509. Same; certificate of title.A motor vehicle is registered in transfer-on-death form bydesignating on the certificate of title, the name of the owner, the names oftenant in common owner or the names of the joint tenant with right ofsurvivorship owners, followed in substance by the words "transfer on death to(name of beneficiary or beneficiaries)."Insteadof the words "transfer on death to" the abbreviation "TOD" may be used.
