Chapter 60.--PROCEDURE, CIVIL
Article 16.--DIVORCE AND MAINTENANCE

      60-1605.   Answer and counterclaim.The respondent may answer and may also file acounterclaim for divorce, annulment or separatemaintenance. If new matter is set up in the answer, it shall be verified by therespondent in person or by the guardian of an incapacitated person. If acounterclaim is filed, it shall be subject to theprovisions of subsections (a), (b) and (c) of K.S.A. 60-1604 and amendmentsthereto. When there are minor children of the marriage, the answer shallcontain, or be accompanied by an affidavit which contains, the informationrequired by K.S.A. 38-1356, and amendments thereto.
