Chapter 65.--PUBLIC HEALTH
Article 1.--SECRETARY OF HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT, ACTIVITIES

      65-116m.   Recovery of cost of care, maintenance or treatment from thirdparties.Where funds appropriated to the department of social and rehabilitationservices have been expended for the purpose of meeting the cost of thecare, maintenance or treatment of any person who has communicable orinfectious tuberculosis pursuant to the provisions of this act and a thirdparty has a legal obligation to pay such cost to or on behalf of therecipient, the secretary of social and rehabilitation services may recoverthe same from the recipient or from the third party and in all respectsshall be subrogated to the rights of the recipient in such cases.
