Chapter 65.--PUBLIC HEALTH
Article 1.--SECRETARY OF HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT, ACTIVITIES

      65-170b.   Same; access to properties and facilities; inspection andmonitoring requirements.In performing investigations or administrative functions relating towater pollution or a public water supply system as provided by K.S.A.65-161 to 65-171j, inclusive, or any amendments thereto, the secretaryof health and environment or the secretary's duly authorizedrepresentatives upon presenting appropriate credentials, may enter anyproperty or facility which is subject to the provisions of K.S.A. 65-161to 65-171j, inclusive, or any amendments thereto, for the purpose ofobserving, monitoring, collecting samples, examining records andfacilities to determine compliance or noncompliance with state laws andrules and regulations relating to water pollution or public watersupply.

      The secretary of health and environment or the secretary's dulyauthorized representative shall make such requirements as they deemnecessary relating to the inspection, monitoring, recording andreporting by any holder of a sewage discharge permit issued under K.S.A.65-165, or any holder of a public water supply system permitissued under K.S.A. 65-163.
