Chapter 65.--PUBLIC HEALTH Article 14.--REGULATION OF DENTISTS AND DENTAL HYGIENISTS

65-1468. Professional liability insurance requiredto practice dentistry.(a) A policy of professional liability insuranceissued by an insurer duly authorized totransact business in this state shall be maintained in effect by each licenseddentist actively practicing in this state as a condition to renderingprofessional services as a dentist in this state, except that a dentist shallnot be required to maintain professional liability insurance if such person'sdental practice is limited to providing dental services under subsection (f) ofK.S.A. 75-6102 and amendments thereto.

(b) This section shall be part of and supplemental to the dental practicesact.
