Chapter 65.--PUBLIC HEALTH
Article 16.--REGULATION OF PHARMACISTS

      65-1652.   Immunity from liability in civil actions for reporting, communicatingand investigating certain information concerning alleged malpractice incidentsand other information; conditions.(a) No person reporting to the board of pharmacy under oath and in goodfaith any information such person may have relating to alleged incidentsof malpractice or the qualifications, fitness or character or a pharmacistshall be subject to a civil action for damages as a result of reporting such information.

      (b)   Any state, regional or local association ofpharmacists and the individual members of any committee thereof, which ingood faith investigates or communicates information pertaining to thealleged incidents of malpractice or the qualifications, fitness orcharacter of any pharmacist to the board of pharmacy orto any committee or agent thereof, shall be immune from liability in anycivil action, that is based upon such information or transmittal ofinformation if the investigation and communication was made in good faithand did not represent as true any matter not reasonably believed to be true.

      (c)   This section shall be a part of and supplemental to the pharmacy actof the state of Kansas.
