Chapter 65.--PUBLIC HEALTH
Article 16.--REGULATION OF PHARMACISTS

      65-1654.   Privileged communications.(a) The confidential communications between a licensedpharmacist and the pharmacist's patient and records of prescription ordersfilled by the pharmacist are placed on the same basis of confidentiality asprovided by law for communications between a physician and the physician'spatient and records of prescriptions dispensed by a physician. Nothing inthis subsection shall limit the authority of the board or other persons, asprovided by law, from inspecting the book or file of prescription orderskept by a pharmacy or firm performing any duty or exercising any authorityas otherwise provided by law.

      (b)   This section shall be part of and supplemental to the pharmacy actof the state of Kansas.
