Chapter 65.--PUBLIC HEALTH
Article 16.--REGULATION OF PHARMACISTS

      65-1662.   Veterinary medical teaching hospitalpharmacy; distribution and control of prescription-only drugs; pharmacist incharge.(a) Distribution and control of prescription-only drugs in aveterinary medical teaching hospital pharmacy shall be under the supervision ofapharmacist in charge. The pharmacist in charge shall also be responsible forestablishing and maintaining adequate policies and procedures for training ofpersonnel; storage and maintenance of prescription-only drugs and equipment;quality assurance, labeling, packaging and distribution of prescription-onlydrugs; recordkeeping and security.

      (b)   The board shall adopt such rules and regulations relating to the policiesandprocedures for veterinary medical teaching hospital pharmacies as necessary forpropercontrol of prescription-only drugs by such veterinary medical teaching hospitalpharmaciesand adequate safety.

      (c)   This section shall be part of and supplemental to the pharmacy act of thestate of Kansas.
