Chapter 65.--PUBLIC HEALTH
Article 29.--PHYSICAL THERAPY

      65-2904.   Same; terms; oath.The councilshall be appointed as follows:The board shall appoint one physicianlicensed topractice medicine and surgery and one member ofthe board, and the governor shall appointthreephysical therapists who are duly licensed physicaltherapists who have atleast three years' experience in physical therapy immediately preceding theappointment and are actively engaged, in this state, in physical therapy.The foregoing appointees shall constitute the council. Except asotherwise provided in thissection, the membersappointed in accordance with this section shall be appointed for terms offour years and shall serve until their successors are appointed andqualify.Members serving on the examining committee for physical therapy on theeffective date of this act shall be members of the council and shall serve onthe council until the conclusion of the terms for which they were appointed tothe examining committee for physical therapy and until their successors areappointed and qualified.Eachmember of the council shall take an oath as required bylawfor state officers. No physical therapist member appointed by the governorshall be appointed for more than twosuccessivefour-year terms commencing on or after that date.
