Chapter 65.--PUBLIC HEALTH
Article 4.--HOSPITALS AND OTHER FACILITIES

      65-421.   Consideration and forwarding of applications; hearing.The secretary shall afford to every applicant for federal funds or loansfor a medical facility project under K.S.A. 65-420, and anyamendments thereto, an opportunity for a fair hearingin accordance with the provisions of the Kansas administrativeprocedure act. If thesecretary, after affording reasonable opportunity for development andpresentation of applications in the order of relative need, finds that aproject application complies with the requirements of K.S.A. 65-420 andany amendments thereto, and is otherwise in conformity withthe state plan, the secretary shall approve such application and shallforward the application to the federal secretary of health, educationand welfare along with such recommendation.
