Chapter 65.--PUBLIC HEALTH
Article 5.--MATERNITY CENTERS AND CHILD CARE FACILITIES

      65-506.   Notice of issuance, suspension or revocationof license;notice to parents or guardians of enrollees of suspension, revocation ordenial;unlicensed placements prohibited.The secretary of health and environment shall serve notice of theissuance, suspension or revocation of a license to conduct a maternity centeror child care facilityor the issuance, suspension or revocation of a certificate of registration fora family day care home tothe secretary of social and rehabilitation services,juvenile justice authority, department of education, office ofthe statefire marshal,county,city-county or multi-county department of health, and to any licensed childplacement agency or licensed childcare resource and referral agency serving the areawhere the center or facility is located.A maternity center or child care facility that has had a license suspended,revoked or denied by the secretary of health and environment or a family daycare home that has had a certificate of registration suspended, revoked ordenied by the secretary of health and environment shall notify in writing theparents or guardians of the enrollees of the suspension, revocation ordenial.Neither thesecretary of social and rehabilitation services nor any other personshall place or causeto be placed any maternity patient or child under 16 years ofage in any maternity center or child care facility not licensedby the secretary of healthand environment or family day care home not holding a certificate ofregistration from the secretary of health and environment.
