Article 5.--MATERNITY CENTERS AND CHILD CARE FACILITIES

      65-521.   Denial, revocation or nonrenewal of certificate ofregistration; notice and hearing; application for certificate ofregistration or licensure after revocation or refusal to renew.(a) The secretary may deny, revoke or refuse to renew a certificate ofregistration upon a determination by the secretary that the registrantfalsified information on the application or willfully and substantially hasviolated K.S.A. 65-516 through 65-522, andamendments thereto. Thesecretary shall not revoke or refuse to renew any certificate without firstgiving notice and conducting a hearing in accordance with the provisions ofthe Kansas administrative procedure act.

      (b)   If the secretary revokes or refuses to renew a certificate ofregistration, the registrant who has had a certificate of registrationrevoked or not renewed shall not be eligible to apply for a certificate ofregistration or for a license to maintain achild care facilityunder K.S.A. 65-504 and amendments thereto for a period of one yearsubsequent to the date such revocation or refusal to renew becomes final.
