Chapter 65.--PUBLIC HEALTH
Article 5a.--CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL HEALTH CARE NEEDS

      65-5a09.   Applications to furnish services, equipment, supplies; approvalor disapproval; revocation of approval; procedure; hearing.All persons and corporations desiring to supply services, or to sellprosthetic devices, equipment, appliances or supplies authorized underthe provisions of this act, shall first file application therefor withthe secretary of health and environment and submit therewith, in themanner and form and at such times as prescribed by the secretary, theirprices and qualifications. The secretary of health and environment shallapprove or disapprove each such application unconditionally, or otherwise,as the secretary may determine, and notify the interested parties thereof, and shallmake and keep a list of all persons and corporations who have qualifiedto furnish such services, devices, equipment, appliances and supplies,which list shall become a part of the permanent records of thesecretary.

      The secretary of health and environment may at any time thereafterrevoke any such approval and shall, upon revocation thereof, notify allparties interested therein as disclosed by the secretary's records.

      The secretary shallafford any person or applicant aggrieved by an action of the secretaryunder this section an opportunity to be heard at a hearing conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Kansasadministrative procedure act.
