Article 62.--MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS

      65-6213.   Assessment imposed on health maintenanceorganizations, rate.The department shall assess each health maintenanceorganizationthat hasa medicaid managed care contract awarded by the state and administered by thedepartment an assessment fee that equals 5.9% of nonmedicare premiumscollected by that health maintenance organization. The assessment shall becalculated by reference to informationcontained in the health maintenance organization's statement filings for theprevious state fiscal year.
