Chapter 65.--PUBLIC HEALTH Article 63.--SOCIAL WORKERS

65-6317. Renewal of social work associate licenses; revocation orsuspension.No new social work associate license shall beissued by the board. A person holding a license as a social work associateunder K.S.A. 65-6301 to 65-6316, inclusive, and amendments thereto, on theday immediately preceding the effective date of this act shall continueto be a licensed social work associate for all purposes under this act andK.S.A. 65-6301 to 65-6316, inclusive, and amendments thereto, and may renewsuch license as provided by this act and by K.S.A. 65-6301 to 65-6316, inclusive,and amendments thereto. The board may refuse to renew, or may suspendor revoke a social work associate license as provided under thisact and K.S.A. 65-6301 to 65-6316, inclusive, and amendments thereto. All proceedings pursuant to this section shall be conducted in accordancewith the provisions of the Kansas administrative procedure act.
