Chapter 66.--PUBLIC UTILITIES
Article 12.--MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS

      66-1218.   Same; filing mortgages or security agreements heretoforefiled with register of deeds; effect.Any mortgage or security agreement required by K.S.A. 66-1217 to befiled with the secretary of state, that has been heretofore recorded inthe office of the register of deeds of any county or counties in thisstate, shall be filed in the office of the secretary of state withinthirty (30) days after the effective date of this act, and such filingshall thereafter be of the same effect as if the instrument had beenoriginally filed in said office of the secretary of state.
