Chapter 66.--PUBLIC UTILITIES
Article 12.--MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS

      66-1229.   Utility bills, visually impaired or blindcustomers.On and after July 1, 2000, upon request of a visuallyimpaired or blind customer, anyprovider of sewer, water, electric, gasor telephoneservice, or any provider of two or more of such services, whether public orprivate, shall provide the customer's bills, indicating usage and the amountowed, inone of the following formats, as agreed toby the customer and the service provider: Braille, printof not less than 24-point type or audio. The provision of such bills in analternative format shall be at no additional charge to thecustomer making the request.
