Article 10.--NAMING AND MARKING OF HIGHWAYS AND BRIDGES

      68-1029.   Designation of part of U.S. 54 as theYellowBrick Road; designation of city of Liberal as The Land of Oz and The Home ofDorothy of the Wizard of Oz.(a) Theportion ofUnitedStates highway 54 from the west city limits ofthe city of Greensburg then in a southwesterly direction to the Kansas-Oklahomaborder, is hereby designated as "The YellowBrick Road." Thesecretary of transportation shallplace signs along the highway right-of-way at proper intervals to indicate thatthe highway is "The Yellow Brick Road," except that any additional signs shallnot beplaced until the secretary has received sufficient moneys from gifts anddonations to reimburse the secretary for the cost of placing such signs.The secretaryof transportation may accept and administer gifts and donations to aid inobtaining suitable highway signs bearing the proper approved inscription.

      (b)   The city of Liberal is hereby designated as "The Land of Oz" and "TheHome of Dorothy of the Wizard of Oz."
