Chapter 68.--ROADS AND BRIDGES
PART I.--ROADS
Article 10.--NAMING AND MARKING OF HIGHWAYS AND BRIDGES

      68-1058.   Designation of part of U.S. highway 24 andK-18 as the 75th division of the United States Army highway.United States highway 24 from the west city limits ofTopeka, then west on United States highway 24 to the west junctionof United States highway 24 and K-177 highway, then south to the junction ofK-177highway and K-18 highway, then west on K-18 highway through the city ofManhattan to the junction with interstate highway 70, is hereby designated asthe 75th division of the United States Army highway. The secretary oftransportation shall place signsalong the highway right-of-way at properintervals to indicate that the highway is the 75th division of the UnitedStates Army highway, except that such signs shall not be placed until thesecretaryhas received sufficient moneys from gifts and donations to reimburse thesecretary for the cost of placing such signs and an additional 50% of theinitial cost to defray future maintenance or replacement costs of such signs.The secretary of transportationmay accept and administer gifts and donations to aid in obtaining andinstalling suitable signs.
