Chapter 68.--ROADS AND BRIDGES
PART I.--ROADS
Article 10.--NAMING AND MARKING OF HIGHWAYS AND BRIDGES

      68-1076.   Designation of part of U.S. 24 as the WorldWar II veterans memorial highway.From the junction of United States highway 24 with United Stateshighway 77 then west on United States highway 24 to the junction of UnitedStates highway 24 with United States highway 83 is hereby designated the WorldWar II veterans memorial highway. The secretary of transportation shall placesigns along the highway right-of-way at proper intervals to indicate that thehighway is the World War II veterans memorial highway, except that such signsshall not be placed until the secretary has received sufficient moneys fromgifts and donations to reimburse the secretary for the cost of placing suchsigns and an additional 50% of the initial cost to defray future maintenance orreplacement costs of such signs. The secretary of transportation may acceptand administer gifts and donations to aid in obtaining and installing suitablesigns.
