Chapter 68.--ROADS AND BRIDGES PART I.--ROADS Article 10.--NAMING AND MARKING OF HIGHWAYS AND BRIDGES

68-1077. Designation of part of K-4 as the KoreanWar veterans memorial highway.From the junction of K-4 highway with United States highway 281then west on K-4 highway to the junction of K-4 highway with United Stateshighway 83 ishereby designated the Korean War veterans memorial highway. The secretary oftransportationshall place signs along the highway right-of-way at proper intervals toindicate that the highway is the Korean War veterans memorial highway, exceptthat such signsshall not be placed until the secretary has received sufficient moneys fromgifts and donations to reimburse the secretary for the cost of placing suchsignsand an additional 50% of the initial cost to defray future maintenance orreplacement costs of such signs. The secretary of transportation may accept andadminister gifts anddonations to aid in obtaining and installing suitable signs.
