Chapter 68.--ROADS AND BRIDGES PART I.--ROADS Article 10.--NAMING AND MARKING OF HIGHWAYS AND BRIDGES

68-1083. Designating bridge no. 85 in Labette countyas the veterans memorial bridge.Bridge no. 85 located on United States highway 166 inLabette county is hereby designated as the veterans memorial bridge. Thesecretary of transportation shall place suitable signs to indicate the bridgeis the veterans memorial bridge, except that such signs shall not be placeduntil the secretary has received sufficient moneys from gifts and donations toreimburse the secretary for the cost of placing such signs and an additional50% of the initial cost to defray future maintenance or replacement costs ofsuch signs. The secretary of transportation may accept and administer gifts anddonations to aid in obtaining and installing suitable signs.
