Chapter 68.--ROADS AND BRIDGES PART II.--BRIDGES Article 15.--BRIDGES AND DAMS ACROSS NAVIGABLE STREAMS

68-1506. Act supplemental to other laws.This act is additional and supplemental to all other statutes and actsof the state, authorizing and regulating the construction and maintenanceof bridges, dams and other obstructions in, over and across the navigablerivers of the state: Provided, This act shall not be construed asdepriving any person, private corporation or municipality of any existingrights, or relieving any person, private or municipal corporation fromliability under existing laws, for flooding or otherwise injuring privateproperty by the constructing, repairing or maintaining of any dam or bridgeor other obstruction.
