Chapter 68.--ROADS AND BRIDGES
PART III.--MISCELLANEOUS
Article 23.--EXPRESS HIGHWAYS AND FREEWAYS

      68-2326.   Bonds tax exempt.The exercise of the powers granted by this act will be in allrespects for the benefit of the people of the state, for the increase oftheir commerce and prosperity and for the improvement of their health andliving conditions; and as construction, improvement, replacement andmaintenance of highway projects in the state will constitute theperformance of essential governmental functions, all bonds and other debtinstruments issued pursuant to the provisions of this act, and all incomeor interest therefrom, at all times shall be exempt from all taxes within the state.
