Chapter 68.--ROADS AND BRIDGES
PART I.--ROADS
Article 5.--COUNTY AND TOWNSHIP ROADS

      68-529.   Deflection of road on county, township or city line;division of cost.Where a road is located on a county, township or city line, and byreason of any impediment, natural or otherwise, any portion of such roadsuffers a deflection from such line not exceeding forty rods paralleldistance, then for the purpose of repairing, maintaining and improvingsuch road it shall be treated the same as though it were actually onsuch county, township or city line, and all expenses either in money,material or labor necessary to repair, maintain and improve any portionof said road shall be borne jointly by the counties, townships andcities contiguous thereto as provided in other like cases.
